Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa launch their “Re.Defined” ballroom and event spaces with invited corporate guests and members of the media. Boost your events with outstanding settings from their redesigned and refreshed spaces for all types of events.

It was a major refurbishment work which cost RM 54 million to enhanced. The works are inclusive of enhanced facilities, technology upgrade to their Grand Ballroom, meeting and function rooms as well as pre-function areas across 3 levels.

Mr Marcz said, “We wanted to create function spaces of the future to capture masterpiece moments and the complete makeover brings an unprecedented level of meticulous care and detailing, injecting a refreshed grandeur, sophistication and a modern attitude into its space”.

The Grand Ballroom

With 2,266 square feet and overlooking the lagoon and Sunway city, the Grand Ballroom has a new view. This features a luxurious palette of colours with contemporary textures, bold geometrical patterns on the carpeting, walls, and ceiling.

A smart lighting system runs through the ballroom and its massive foyer. Natural sunlight shines through the floor-to-ceiling windows giving it a different atmosphere between day and night.

The chandeliers at the Grand Ballroom

There are few main features at the Grand Ballroom such as a 30 feet high ceiling which comes with chandeliers, a built-in elevated stage equipped with HD LED screen backdrop and 4 LED screens located on the front and side walls.

The Grand Ballroom has divisible partitioning that splits into 3 separate room, catering to smaller events. More than 2,700 guests can be fit into the Grand Ballroom, depending on the sitting arrangements.

Event Halls

A set up that suits AGM, a board of directors, stakeholders or top management meetings.

Boost your events with outstanding settings from the newly revamped function halls. Located across 3 levels of the hotel, these function rooms are suitable for corporate events, private and social gatherings.

Installed with new carpeting, lighting, furniture as well as PA systems. These function rooms come with either a LED TV, an interactive 86″ touchscreen TV with screen sharing and built-in whiteboard function or a built-in LED projector screen. Plus, a wide range of microphones is included upon request.

The different range of microphones is available upon request.

The function halls are located on level 10 and 12 respectively. These rooms can accommodate up to 22 to 330 people depending on the room size and sitting arrangements.

Menu Selections

A wide range selection of F&B to choose from and menu can be customised accordingly.

The hotel has many types of event and celebration packages ranging from weddings, conferences, meetings, cocktails, charity, birthday parties to social gatherings.
